Our Journals

LUP's journals portfolio has been expanding rapidly, and we now publish 28 scholarly journals across the humanities and social sciences. We welcome approaches from academics or learned societies interested in starting new journals or exploring co-publishing arrangements for existing journals. To discuss a journal proposal, please contact Clare Hooper, Head of Journals.

Our journals are hosted online here. To keep up to date with the latest journals news, see our Journals Resource page.

LUP is a member of both Portico and CLOCKSS, not-for-profit services committed to the preservation of digital publications. These services ensure that participating libraries are provided with access to archived content when specific trigger events occur, including when titles are no longer available from the publisher or other source. They also provide a reliable means to secure perpetual access when a participating publisher chooses to designate Portico or LOCKSS as a provider of post-cancellation access.
