AUP in conversation with Zach Coble, head of Digital Scholarship Services at NYU Libraries, on Digital Humanities

The Journals Committee of the Association of University Presses (AUP) is pleased to invite you to a presentation and following conversation on the AAUP-J email discussion list on 29th January 2018 with Zach Coble. 

Zach Coble works at New York University Libraries, where he is head of the Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) department. DSS provides consultation, project management, and other services for NYU faculty and students interested in incorporating digital humanities and publishing methods in their research and teaching. Zach also co-edits dh+lib (http://acrl.ala.org/dh/) and is a student in NYU's ITP program.

Zach will be discussing Digital Humanities – what it is, and how it is intersecting with scholarly publishing and journals, now and in the future. He will be talking about potential issues publishers might need to address.

Following this, there will be a week of discussion with Zach and AUP colleagues, where you will get the chance to ask any questions you may have, directly via the listserv.
