How I Get God: The Rhythm of Love and The Search for Truth
Abstract
Julian of Norwich offers a concise trinitarian theology of God as Love. This article follows Julian’s naming of Love as the direction or dynamic of revelation and of theology to propose the metaphor of God as divine rhythm rather than divine harmony. I read 1 Thessalonians 1:9 – about service to a ‘living and true God’ – to propose that theology must search for and serve life and truth.
