Hans Küng's Theses on Dignified Dying

Modern Believing (2015), 56, (2), 121–134.

Abstract

Hans Küng fuses theology and experience to create a framework within which assisted dying can be discussed. His work is strongly opposed by orthodox catholic scholars. Now in his late old age, there is a relevance and poignancy to his recent writing which makes a strong contribution to the debate amongst Christians in the United Kingdom in the context of Lord Falconer's Assisted Dying Bill.
