Indexing videos: timing is everything

The Indexer: The International Journal of Indexing (2018), 36, (3), 90–95.

Abstract

Indexing videos requires many of the same skills as indexing books or other materials. The main difference lies in the locator – time codes are used to guide the reader to the relevant point in the video. Jan Wright explains how this is done and provides helpful hints on how to manage a video indexing project.
