EPUB3 indexes and the future of indexing

The Indexer: The International Journal of Indexing (2013), 31, (3), 110–121.

Abstract

Ebook indexing has great potential. The EPUB standard describes coding that can be used to provide active, linked indexes, but it is up to publishers and indexers to explore the options, to find out what works well and what not so well, and to share their experiences with others so that we can all make optimal choices.
