The Indexer: The International Journal of Indexing (2009), 27, (1), 26–28.

Abstract

This article, based on a presentation to the SI North-East Branch in September 2008, provides an update on the ANZSI mentoring scheme, outlining the purpose, process and operation of the scheme, and offers a mentor’s personal perspective on the scheme. Successes are highlighted, as are areas of weakness, and recommendations are offered on how to overcome these weaknesses which may help other societies thinking of proceeding down the same path to avoid the pitfalls.
