Christina lectures in English at the University of Limerick and specialises in Romantic-era Irish gothic and Irish women's writing. She is the author of The Gothic Novel in Ireland, c. 1760-1829 (2018) and is currently editing, with Jarlath Killeen, Irish Gothic: an Edinburgh Companion.

Ciarán is Head of School in Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge at Dublin City University. He is primarily interested in eighteenth-century religious prose in Irish, especially the sermon genre. His publications include a co-edited collection, with Prof. James Kelly, Irish and English: essays on the Irish linguistic and cultural frontier, 1600-1900 (Four Courts, 2012).
